What is Purpose?

Myles Munroe said that when the purpose of a thing is not known, abuse is inevitable. In order words, purpose is the manual necessary for any product without which the product will be misused. Just imagine being the owner of a brand new machine that no one except the manufacturer knows how to operate. In your haste to have this product, you forgot to go with the manual. Now, you are at home and so excited to try out this product but alas, there is no manual. That product at that moment becomes useless to you. Its usefulness can only be valued when the manual arrives.
You are such a product. You are so precious and unique that your type cannot be found anywhere else on the planet but you loose your relevance and importance when you do not have your manual. Your manual tells you who you are, why you were created what you are to accomplish and how to accomplish etc. Your manual in actual sense is your purpose. It is no wonder people insult you, mistreat you and call you names. They do these not because they want to but because they do not know who you are. In your haste to receive their approval, you gave them the wrong manual by claiming a personality you are not and until this wrong manual is retrieved and replaced, you will be undervalued.
